From zero organic pipeline to 41% of new demos for a B2B SaaS
A well-funded product with no organic presence. Fixing indexation, then publishing against bottom-of-funnel intent, made search the second-largest demo source.

The challenge
The product was strong and the paid channel was working, but paid was the only channel — and cost per demo had been rising every quarter as competitors bid up the same terms.
The site had published around 60 blog posts over two years with almost nothing to show for it. A crawl explained why: the entire blog sat behind a client-side rendered route that Google was indexing inconsistently, and 38 of the 60 posts were not in the index at all.
The posts that were indexed targeted broad awareness topics with no commercial intent, so even the traffic that arrived had no path to a demo.
What we did
The technical work came first and took six weeks. Blog routes were moved to server rendering, canonical tags were fixed across a duplicate-URL problem caused by trailing slashes, an XML sitemap was generated properly, and internal linking was rebuilt so deep pages were reachable in three clicks rather than seven.
Indexation went from 22 of 60 pages to 58 of 60 within a month.
We then rebuilt the keyword map around commercial intent — comparison pages, alternative-to pages, integration pages and use-case pages — rather than the broad "what is…" topics the previous content had chased.
The strategy
Content was published on a fixed cadence of six pieces a month, weighted 70% toward bottom-of-funnel terms where the searcher was already evaluating tools.
Each piece was briefed against the pages already ranking and written with input from the client's solutions engineers, which is what let the comparison pages be specific enough to be credible rather than diplomatic.
Digital PR ran in parallel — original survey data published quarterly earned coverage and links from industry publications without a single bought placement.
The results
Organic sessions grew from 1,900 to 18,400 a month over nine months. More importantly, organic went from producing 4 demos a month to 63 — 41% of all new demos by month nine.
Because the traffic was intent-led, organic demos converted to opportunity at a higher rate than paid ones, and cost per acquisition on the channel continued falling as the content compounded.
